CHAIRMAN AND CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER​​

Mr. Aziz founded the company in Orange County, CA in 1992. As a seasoned mortgage executive with broad experience in both new operation start-ups and “turn-a-rounds” of mortgage companies, his vast contributions to the mortgage industry has helped shape how independent mortgage banks operate today.

Rabi was one of the first to introduce non-prime lending as a key compliment to OCMBC, Inc.'s conventional and government offering. His vision of maintaining a culture of trust, transparency and teamwork has led OCMBC, Inc. to grow significantly in the past three decades and achieve record breaking growth each year. Mr. Aziz best summarizes his personal mantra as, “The key to overall success is through leadership and empowering those amongst you to lead.”

Mr. Hamel is a seasoned mortgage and financial services executive with deep expertise in capital markets, liquidity management, and strategic partnerships. As President at OCMBC, Inc., he leads the company’s overall strategy, operations, and market expansion.

With leadership experience at Prime Choice Funding, REFI.COM, and First Direct Lending, John has a strong track record in capital raising, investment banking, and mortgage lending. He holds an MBA in Finance from NYU Stern and a Bachelor’s in Business Entrepreneurship from USC. Based in Orange County, California, John is a recognized leader in the mortgage industry.

Greg Armstrong

Mr. Armstrong has more than 20 years of experience leading national TPO organizations. He led sales divisions for Wells Fargo Home Mortgage, Nationstar, Stonegate Mortgage and most recently, Pacific Union Financial. Greg oversees all aspects of OCMBC, Inc.'s fulfillment operations and is charged with creating a customer experience that could rival any national lender in the industry.

He joined OCMBC, Inc. in 2018 and through his leadership, he helped the company in achieving record growth while positioning the operations group to gain efficiency, speed and scale. Greg’s professional creed is “Always take a moment to think about your actions before you react.”

Lina Colon

Co-Chair and Chief Administrative Officer

For the past 25+ years, Ms. Colon has been instrumental in leading OCMBC, Inc. from a small regional mortgage bank who primarily operated in Southern California, to a diverse platform that operates in 35 states across the country and funds billions in originations each year.

In her role, she directs all aspects of the company’s back office operations including budgeting, compliance and financial reporting. She works closely with the CEO in identifying business opportunities, developing strategies and assessing growth initiatives.

Thomas Shaw, OCMBC, Inc.

Chief Marketing officer and Technology Officer

Mr. Shaw has lead marketing organizations and companies for over 25 years. He has experience in mortgage and finance dating back to 2002 with public and privately owned companies and further experience with start-ups and advertising agencies.

His mortgage finance experience includes working with consumer direct, distributed retail, wholesale, correspondent, servicing, title, and assorted business divisions. Mr. Shaw is consistently at the intersection of marketing, technology, and mortgage origination/lenders/banking linking data to decisions. He is a Board Member of UCLA Business, Design Thinking and advisor.

Michelle Leigh, OCMBC, Inc.

Chief Compliance Officer and EVP of Regulatory Affairs

Ms. Leigh has 25+ years of expertise in the Mortgage and Consumer Banking Industry, with a particular emphasis in Risk Management and related fields such as: Regulatory Compliance, Internal Audit, Operational Risk Management, Lending & Services, Default Management, Fraud Investigation, Quality Control and Government Risk.

Ms. Leigh holds several Mortgage and Consumer Banking-related designations. Here at OCMBC, Inc., Ms. Leigh oversees the Regulatory Framework, the Compliance Management System, along with the Pillars of Compliance, Licensing, Vendor Risk, Regulatory Testing, and is part of the Exam Management and Internal Audit Team.
